Automotive Technician

We are seeking a recent high school graduate (or GED) to join our team as an Auto Tech in Maquoketa, Iowa.

At Brad Deery Motors Inc, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional automotive maintenance and repair services to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

$15-$25 per hour, paid weekly.

• Perform routine automotive maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles.
• Repair or replace parts, such as brakes, spark plugs, and belts.
• Follow manufacturer recommendations and procedures for all services and repairs.
• Keep accurate records of all services and repairs performed.
• Communicate with customers about necessary repairs and provide cost estimates.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous education or experience in automotive technology preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
