As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering hands-on personal care, meeting each resident's physical health and hygiene needs, and performing specialized procedures under the direction of a nurse.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on personal care to meet each resident's physical health and hygiene needs according to their individual care plan.
  • Perform specialized procedures, including medication administration, medication reminders, accurate vital signs, simple wound care dressing, and catheter care.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation.
  • Document resident care and services provided.

Requirements:

  • Sensitivity to resident needs and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Available to work every other weekend.
  • Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
  • High-school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current MN Nursing Assistant certification.
  • Experience in acute care or long-term care.
  • Experience in medication administration.
