  • Set up and operate CNC machinery to fabricate parts with precision and accuracy.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure correct setup and operation of equipment.
  • Program, setup, and operate CNC machines to meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor machine operation and control panel displays to detect malfunctions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Modify cutting programs to account for problems encountered during operation and save modified programs for future use.
  • Stop machines to remove dull cutting tools or make other adjustments as necessary.
  • Use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements and ensure high-quality products.
  • Understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets to maintain equipment efficiency.
  • Provide constant feedback and input into process improvement within the department.
  • Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  • Attend scheduled meetings as needed and actively participate by providing meaningful input.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner to prevent accidents and injuries.
