The role of the Recreation Supervisor is essential in fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment within the campus community. This position involves overseeing a variety of recreational programs and services tailored for students, faculty, and staff, ensuring that all participants have access to enriching experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Coordination: Organize and schedule various recreational activities, including intramural sports, tournaments, and fitness classes.
- Staff Management: Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of student employees and other staff members.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets effectively, monitor expenditures, maintain accurate inventories, and prepare necessary reports.
- Community Engagement: Promote recreational facilities and programs to enhance participation within the university community.
- Support both on-campus and off-campus recreational programming.
- Oversee a team of student workers, ensuring effective operation.
- Collaborate with campus partners to facilitate special events.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of two years of related professional experience.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree along with three years of pertinent work experience in recreation management.
Compensation:The proposed salary for this position is $37,114.
