About the Role

As a PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients recovering from surgery. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient status, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring seamless transitions between care teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient status and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient recovery and well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care
  • Provide accurate and concise hand-off reports to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • One year of PACU experience preferred
  • Current state licensure to practice nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing or Perianesthesia is preferred
