Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients through the childbirth process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery
