We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team at Homemakers Furniture. Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Delivery Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Product Handling and Loading: Safely pack, load, and secure products in accordance with company standards.
  • Navigation and Dispatch: Drive throughout statewide and metropolitan areas using navigation tools, and assist with dispatch calls and customer inquiries.
  • Customer Interaction: Ensure courteous and customer-focused interactions to maximize satisfaction, and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Product Installation: Unload and install products in customers' homes, including navigating stairs when necessary.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report any issues promptly, and keep company vehicles clean and organized.
  • Operational Efficiency: Provide feedback to management on operational efficiencies and safety improvements, and follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous Delivery Experience: Previous delivery experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Time Management Skills: Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DWI convictions in the last seven years; no more than two moving violations or accidents in the last seven years).
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
Physical Expectations
  • Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, handling and lifting heavy items (up to 150 lbs), and maneuvering equipment and products weighing up to 150 lbs.
Environmental Conditions
  • Work Environment: In-home furniture delivery environment.

Background check and pre-employment drug screen are required. Homemakers Furniture is a tobacco and drug-free workplace. EOE.
