Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at OhioHealth Marion General Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in various settings, including med-surg units, emergency department, rapid diagnosis unit, post-surgical unit, ICU, ICUSD, and behavioral health unit.
  • Operate and maintain various respiratory equipment, including Servo U Ventilators, BiPAPs, and Vapotherm.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current Ohio license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or Certificate of Program completion in Respiratory Care.
  • At least 2 years of experience in acute care settings.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • NRP certification required; PALS certification preferred.
  • NICU/Special Care Nursery experience necessary.
Work Schedule

This is a 3x12 night shift position, working every other weekend and every other holiday.
