Job Description:
Sargent & Lundy is seeking a skilled Automation Systems Design Engineer to join our Electric Grid Infrastructure Services team. As an Automation Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and integrating substation automation systems, ensuring seamless communication between devices and optimizing system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and configure substation automation systems, including SCADA, control, and monitoring systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility and interoperability of system components.
* Develop and implement automated testing procedures to validate system performance and functionality.
* Conduct site visits to troubleshoot and optimize system performance in the field.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* 4+ years of experience in substation automation design and integration.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java.
* Experience with SCADA protocols, including DNP3, IEC 61850, and Modbus.
* Strong understanding of electrical grid infrastructure and substations.
