Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Weill Cornell Medical College. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our medical staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, including electronic medical record chart management and patient flow.
- Monitor patient arrival, escort patients to exam rooms, and ensure timely care.
- Prepare exam rooms, wash and sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Record medical information, answer phones, and respond to inquiries.
- Provide in-office patient care services, including vital signs, venipuncture, and administering medications.
Requirements
- NYS Registered LPN License and current LPN registration.
- BLS certification, issued by the American Heart Association.
- Infection Control Certificate.
- Approximately 2 or more years of related clinical experience.
