Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Van Driver to join our team at Global Parking Systems. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting checked-in customer luggage to and from MSY Airport Terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and directing customers to supervisors as needed.
  • Report any accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to supervisors.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding vehicle maintenance, fueling, and other operational matters.
  • Assist supervisors with other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license required.
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet company standards.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $15.50.
  • Eligibility for dental, medical, and vision insurance after 90 days.
  • Paid holidays, sick time, and vacation.

Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, and using hands to handle equipment. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds may be required.
