We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN CVOR Circulator to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support during cardiovascular operating room procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist in emergency procedures, as well as elective and scheduled cases
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patients receive the best possible care
- Serve as a liaison between the surgical team and patients' families
- Organize supplies needed for patients
- Assess patients before, during, and after surgery, maintaining a sterile operating room
- Perform count procedures to protect patients from unintended retained foreign objects
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
- Involve patients or designated support persons in decisions affecting their post-perioperative plan of care and rehabilitation process
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in perioperative nursing
