Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the design of solution components and investigate re-use to ensure solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment.
  • Work with business requirements through to system level functional specifications, in business analysis, data analytics or UX, using Structured Query Language (SQL) tools to perform data analysis and test data preparation.
  • Develop IT systems, data modeling, and data warehousing skills, with a focus on Dimensional Data Warehouse systems.
  • Collaborate with various vendors to coordinate the orderly transition of activities and understand necessary integration with satellite systems.
  • Coordinate and participate in testing, ensuring that solutions are thoroughly tested and validated.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in Oracle, Control-M, Informatica, and programming languages such as PL/SQL.
  • Extensive development experience with data mapping, data migration, and data warehouse changes related to re-platforming projects and system integration projects.
  • Knowledge of data warehouses, data flows, transaction flows, Agile methods, and tools such as Jira, TeamCity, GitHub, and Confluence.
  • Experience with trade flows on various instrument types, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, CIF's, Mutual Funds, and related.
