About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team at Shipt. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead core Enterprise Financial Planning routines and ensure that our short, medium, and long-range financial plans are built and delivered as part of a rigorous and collaborative process.
  • Serve as the trusted Finance partner for the HR team, leading our total compensation planning and analysis.
  • Manage our total company OpEx planning process, including setting OpEx planning strategy and company guardrails.
  • Influence organizational decision-making, mentor others to support their growth and development, and proactively lead across your peer group to optimize spend across business units.
  • Work with select business teams in budget planning and reporting routines.
  • Build and maintain financial models used to forecast company performance, create executive-level presentations to share out forecast and performance insights.
  • Partner with the HR team on total company compensation and OpEx forecasting and reporting.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 6-9 years of experience in accounting, data analytics, and/or corporate finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business.
  • MBA degree (preferred) with strong academic performance and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing executive-level content and presentations using industry-standard tools.
  • Financial modeling experience with a solid understanding of a corporate P&L.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across functions and departments.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision-making, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for accuracy in reporting.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and complex financial data.
  • Ability to build discipline and rigor across processes and governance.

Work Arrangement
