We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, organizing, and deploying educational initiatives to support the growth and development of our veterinary technicians.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement training programs for veterinary technicians, including hands-on clinical skills and online training modules.
- Collaborate with local hospital teams to identify training needs and develop customized training plans.
- Provide input into the development of technician protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Lead new hire and coach meetings to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Work with Clinical Supervisors to facilitate learning and development plans for veterinary assistants and technicians.
- Track training modules and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Certified, Licensed, or Registered Veterinary Technician designation is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a veterinary technician, with a strong background in clinical training and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
