Electronics Assembly Inspection Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Inspection Specialist to join our team at BSU INC.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines, ensuring high-quality electronic assemblies meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities- Accurately perform AOI inspections of electronic assemblies, including shutdown and start-up procedures.
- Perform regular maintenance on AOI equipment, adhering to industry standards and good practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand processes and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
- Read and interpret technical documentation, such as customer-supplied drawings and parts lists.
- Act as an authorized agent to stop manufacturing when nonconformances are noted and report errors or discrepancies to leadership.
- Record daily run information, maintain accurate records, and segregate rejected products from accepted ones.
- Assist with visual inspection tasks as needed.
- Ensure adherence to BSU's Quality Management System, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Prior experience in AOI or inspection of electronic assemblies is beneficial.
- Familiarity with electronics components, such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, transistors, ICs, etc.
- Ability to read schematics, follow procedures, and apply computer skills to resolve technical problems.
A High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) is preferred, or 2+ years of related work experience. We encourage candidates to highlight their relevant skills and qualifications.
Estimated SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, based on industry standards and location considerations.
