Position: Relocation Assistance Specialist

Caring Transitions is in search of dedicated individuals for part-time roles to support our relocation services. This position involves assisting with the organization, sorting, and preparation of items for estate sales and online auctions. We serve clients primarily in the East Stroudsburg area and surrounding communities.
The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, a strong customer service focus, and a genuine desire to help others during significant life transitions. Physical fitness is essential, as the role may require repetitive lifting and bending, and candidates should be prepared to work in varied environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting and Organizing: Collaborate with clients to evaluate their belongings, assisting them in decisions regarding what to keep, donate, or discard.
- Planning: Aid clients in determining which items will fit in their new living spaces.
- Packing: Carefully wrap and box items for relocation.
- Moving and Resettling: Supervise movers to ensure items are transported as planned and assist in unpacking at the new location.
- Online Estate Sales: Photograph items, create descriptions, and manage online listings for auction.
- Cleanouts: Handle home cleanouts, including those with challenging conditions, with compassion and understanding.
Work Environment: The role may involve working in dusty or dirty conditions, and candidates must demonstrate empathy, integrity, and reliability. A successful background check is required.
Requirements:
- Must have a mobile phone and reliable transportation.
- Access to GPS or mapping services for job site navigation.
- Availability for flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends as needed.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
