Job Title: RN- PICU

Job Summary:
Integrated Resources is seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. As a PICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Function 1: Assessment and Clinical Skills
• Conduct thorough and systematic assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Demonstrate competent clinical skills, including the ability to perform direct patient care activities and provide appropriate nursing care to patients in the PICU.

Job Function 2: Documentation and Professionalism
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
• Demonstrate professional practice responsibility, including knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to identify areas for clinical and professional growth.

Job Function 3: Patient Satisfaction and Safety
• Respond to patients' and families' needs in a professional, courteous, and positive manner to promote a positive patient experience.
• Consistently follow National Patient Safety Goals, including the use of universal protocol and patient identifiers.

Job Function 4: Unit Specific Job Function
• Demonstrate knowledge of conditions, diagnoses, procedures, and equipment encountered in the PICU, including the ability to individualize patient care according to the procedure and type of anesthesia.
• Assess patient reaction and understanding of procedures and instructions.

Requirements:
• 1 year of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• PALS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:
As defined by Occupation Safety/OMS.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
