Cart Attendant

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Cart Attendant - Retail to join our team at Winn-Dixie. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that their shopping experience is positive and enjoyable.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with a salary range of $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner;
- Packing customer purchases in a manner to prevent damages;
- Carrying or pushing groceries in a shopping cart to the customer's car;
- Checking the price of merchandise in all departments;
- Maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- The ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment;
- A strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
