**Job Summary**

The Alabama Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Driver to join our team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school events, field trips, and other activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a school bus in accordance with Federal, State, and local government agencies' regulations and policies.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
• Participate in regular bus evacuation drills and maintain a clean and organized bus environment.
• Collaborate with the Transportation Coordinator to resolve discipline issues and ensure smooth bus operations.
• Adhere to University Charter School's policies and procedures regarding student management and incident reporting.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Alabama driver's license and commercial driver's license.
• Physical ability to perform duties and pass regular health checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
