Do you possess the technical expertise to swiftly troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues in a conference setting?

Are you eager to apply your audio/visual knowledge to support a team dedicated to enterprise A/V technologies and meeting assistance?

If so, this role may be a perfect fit for you.

We are looking for a Multimedia Production Specialist to oversee and operate A/V equipment, as well as provide meeting support in auditoriums and conference rooms. In this position, you will facilitate audio-visual operations across the enterprise facility.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with project managers and clients to devise resources and solutions for events, pre-checking venues for technical connectivity, testing updates, and ensuring all audio and visual components are functioning effectively for both hybrid and in-person attendees to guarantee operational reliability.

As a Multimedia Production Specialist, you will:

  • Manage both analog and digital sound equipment, including mixers, microphones, and wireless systems.
  • Control projection and LCD wall display hardware and software for multi-image presentations.
  • Administer and manage Zoom meetings, including the oversight of images, audio, and video components such as cameras and video switchers.
  • Connect, operate, and troubleshoot video-teleconference and collaboration equipment.
  • Conduct quality control on video and audio signals, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will be part of a team that provides meeting support and guidance on the evolution and investment in A/V and audio equipment. In this role, you will collaborate with the Lead Design Engineer, conducting equipment research, usability testing, and quality control of all audio, video, and low-voltage connections.

  • Hold a BA/BS in a relevant field (Communications, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering) or possess equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years in A/V systems maintenance.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate expertise in A/V systems operations and maintenance, including projectors and audio consoles.
  • Possess knowledge of industry standards for audio capture, video encoding, and A/V control-system connectivity.
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Are eligible to obtain Secret level security clearance.

You'll exceed our minimum requirements if you:

  • Have familiarity with APL systems and equipment.
  • Understand LED wall display hardware and multi-screen display software.
  • Are comfortable with both Mac and PC platforms.
  • Hold an MA/MS degree.
  • Have expert-level programming skills in AMX or Crestron.
  • Have experience in designing and managing A/V systems for various facility types.
  • Are knowledgeable about streaming codecs.
  • Have experience with procurement and vendor management.

Special Working Conditions:

Support classified events in secure areas. Occasional after-hours work may be required to support events, along with some overnight travel. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are necessary.
