Job Summary: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Janitorial Associate. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our store's common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers and associates by dusting shelves and fixtures, cleaning windows, sweeping/vacuuming as needed, and sanitizing shopping carts.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of our store's facilities, including emptying trash cans, inside and outside, and utilizing brooms, mop, floor scrubber, dusters, and general store cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by interacting politely and effectively with customers, and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
  • Organizational Skills: Good customer service and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
