Job Summary:The Travel Nurse RN Specialist will be responsible for providing medical surgical care to patients in a hospital setting. This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, nights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical surgical nursing and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical surgical nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
