Key Responsibilities
As the Lodging Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the effective management of designated areas within our lodging facilities. Your duties will include:
- Supervising staff, conducting room inspections, and providing training.
- Distributing tasks and offering guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
- Managing leave requests and participating in personnel evaluations.
- Monitoring compliance with safety and security regulations, addressing any discrepancies.
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities.
- Coordinating supply inventories and managing stock levels.
- Collaborating with management to optimize staffing based on occupancy levels.
- Handling administrative tasks, including timecard verification and operational record maintenance.
- Delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Facilitating weekly staff meetings to promote effective communication.
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and training requirements.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of three years of experience in a hospitality setting, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates relevant skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, purchasing, and budget management.
- The capacity to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
