Salary: $1000 Sign on Bonus plus an estimated annual salary of $65,000-$85,000 based on experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our dynamic team in the Med Surg Telemetry Unit at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and activities of daily living (ADL)
  • Answer call lights and complete patient rounds
  • Help with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharge
  • Take care of patient personal hygiene and assist with patient clean up
  • Comply with Baylor Scott & White policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Less than 1 year of experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer
