Our team operates cross-functionally, and you will engage in a diverse array of operational and technical audits. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate with comprehensive experience in Operations, Commercial, Compliance, IT, and Financial auditing.

You should be adept at functioning both independently and collaboratively, providing you with the opportunity to understand our business intricacies, our IT framework, and to connect with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.

You will collaborate with an Audit Manager to execute comprehensive financial, operational, IT, and compliance audits across all Amazon divisions.

Audit subjects may encompass distribution center functions, customer service operations, vendor agreements, logistics, commercial contracts, adherence to various regulations and corporate policies, privacy, information security, business continuity, asset management, and platform security, among others.

It is essential to comprehend complex business workflows and identify a wide range of risks. You should feel comfortable engaging with various roles, from technical software engineers to business executives.

You must possess the ability to translate risks into business challenges. Your writing skills will be crucial in clearly articulating identified issues in business terminology. You will assist in prioritizing findings and recommendations in alignment with our corporate objectives.

Facilitating consensus among multiple stakeholders to agree on suitable solutions and ensuring that risks are effectively mitigated is a key responsibility.

Strong project management skills are essential, as you will oversee variable resources and conduct audits from inception to completion, often managing several projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Internal Audit risk assessment and audit planning process.
  • Plan and define the scope of audit/advisory projects, execute project plans, prepare written findings, and facilitate business responses and action items.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to develop meaningful findings and recommend root cause solutions.
  • Facilitate consensus among multiple stakeholders to agree on appropriate solutions and verify that risks are effectively mitigated.
  • Prepare reports for presentation to senior management and for reporting to the Audit Committee.
  • Represent Internal Audit in various forums (e.g., stakeholder meetings, management and board meetings, compliance committees).
  • Produce documentation to address internal/external requests related to Internal Audit.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, business, engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Finance, Audit, Operations, Risk Management, Compliance, Technology, or a related function.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in risk management (conducting assessments, evaluating controls, managing enterprise control frameworks).
  • Experience with a Big 4 accounting or consulting firm OR Internal Audit experience.
  • Relevant certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA) are preferred.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Excel and writing data queries.
