Laboratory Specialist

Pride Health is currently seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join their team in Edenton, NC.

This is a contract position with the possibility of extension and offers an excellent opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Key Details:

• Location: Edenton, NC 27932
• Schedule: Day/EST (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:15pm, 30-minute lunch)
• Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials)

Responsibilities:

1. Collect and store blood specimens according to established procedures.
2. Properly label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
3. Pack specimens for transport and store them at the correct temperature.
4. Demonstrate venipuncture techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience
