Are you passionate about supporting the well-being of young children and their families? Thom Child and Family Services is seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This position involves providing home and community-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or at risk for delays. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with parents/caregivers to develop and implement individualized service plans that prioritize family needs, culture, and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments to identify client developmental status
  • Provide direct child development services and activities tailored to children 0-3 and their families
  • Develop Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with goals, objectives, and strategies related to child development
  • Complete progress notes, reports, and correspondence as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work OR Certified/Licensed Social Worker as required by state of Massachusetts
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families (preferable)
  • Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development
  • Ability to establish meaningful relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners
  • Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally sensitive services
