Job Summary
This role provides direct clinical patient care in the PreOp PACU department at Fort Mill Medical Center. The RN PreOp PACU Full Time Days Nurse will assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective interpersonal and communication skills and serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
- Manage resources related to patient care and ensure competency of clinical staff.
Requirements
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as a nurse in the state of practice or policy.
- CPR certification.
