The Patient Safety & Risk Manager (RN) plays a crucial role within the Quality Resource Risk Management Team. This position is responsible for:

  • Identifying, monitoring, and evaluating processes to enhance patient, staff, and visitor safety.
  • Leading root cause analysis and Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) teams.
  • Facilitating daily operations of network initiatives, including quality improvement programs and peer review activities.
  • Collaborating on quality assurance processes, addressing case management and infection control issues.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Independence and teamwork capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
  • A degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (Associate's required, Bachelor's preferred).
  • One of the following certifications: Patient Safety Officer Certification, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM).
  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical or healthcare-related experience, with a preference for risk management experience.
