Role Overview:

As a Per Diem CT Technologist at Atlantic Health System, you will perform a variety of CT imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups.

Key responsibilities include operating CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices, explaining procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, administering contrast (IV and/or Oral), and conducting imaging in accordance to established protocols and quality standards.

You will also be responsible for entering complete and accurate documentation into all AHS/Radiology systems, performing general radiology procedures, biopsies, cardiac imaging, and all other exams done in the department.

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree / Graduate of a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Minimum 2 yrs experience in CT preferred and operating GE systems preferred.
  • NJ State Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • IV Certification.
