Position Overview: The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing both routine and advanced diagnostic assessments within specified laboratory sections. This role involves employing standard and specialized methodologies, alongside various equipment and instruments, to execute testing procedures effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic tests with precision and accuracy.
  • Report and document test results responsibly.
  • Utilize technical expertise to enhance patient care.
  • Ensure timely delivery of results to support clinical decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific field is required.
  • Possession of a valid NYSED License is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred, which may include completion of an ASCP educational program.
  • Familiarity with computer systems for data entry is essential.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $45.499 per hour to $56.021 per hour, commensurate with experience.
