Position Overview
Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 available for qualified external candidates
This role is situated within a state-of-the-art Radiology and Mammography facility.
Role Summary:
The Breast Imaging Technologist is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and fulfilling customer expectations through the application of advanced technical expertise in mammographic imaging.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- At least 1 year of experience in Mammography (GE experience preferred)
- Minimum Experience: one year
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification in Radiography
- ARRT Certification in Mammography to be obtained within the first year of employment
- Valid CT State License
- CPR Certification
- Commitment to ongoing education (24 CE credits every two years)
- Adherence to MQSA standards (15 CE credits specific to Mammography every three years)
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Professional demeanor to foster patient trust
- Positive attitude with a commitment to respect and courtesy
Technical Skills Required:
Proficient in utilizing PACS, RIS systems, Mammography tracking software, and other necessary computer applications.
Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $42.00 to $52.00, commensurate with experience.
Credentials Required:
- Essential:
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Specialty Certification
* CPR Certification
Educational Requirements:
- Essential:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
