Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive initiatives and communicate with employees to meet daily needs in a timely and effective manner.
  • Evaluate customer forecasts to ensure proper scheduling and minimize overtime.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to oversee project completion and ensure all needs are met within budget and timelines.
  • Direct, supervise, and coach staff to oversee all aspects of the manufacturing environment.
  • Encourage and champion an atmosphere of Continuous Improvement by fostering an environment with intentional inclusion and participation of all team members.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with some college and 5-7 years' work experience in processes and procedures associated with production.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role in a fast-paced and highly competitive operational and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles, including 5S, root cause, waste, and Gemba.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desired Skills:

  • College degree in an associated field.
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in leadership in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated project planning and project management skills.
  • Green Belt in Lean Manufacturing Principles.
