Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team at Pine Point Center in Scarborough, ME. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver efficient and effective nursing care to patients, achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
  • Evaluate patients to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and individualized care.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring that care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
  • Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
  • Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
