The Principal Engineer will play a pivotal role at our client's rapidly growing operation, serving as a technical lead and subject matter expert on plastic molding processes. This individual will drive the manufacturing process from product concept up to final production, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve products, with a focus on plastic and injection molded components.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform product development strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot product performance issues, implementing effective solutions.
  • Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on product development and project management.
  • Strong experience with plastic and injection molding processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
What We Offer:
  • Base salary $120,000 - $150,000 depending on level of experience.
  • Hybrid flexibility - work from home 2x a week if you prefer.
  • Bonus incentive based on personal metrics & site performance - 10% target.
  • 3 weeks PTO, plus 1 week of sick time.
