Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support the communication and language development of students in grades K through 6th within our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students both individually and in small group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other collaborative efforts to support student achievement.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree from an ASHA accredited university in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active state-level licensure and/or certification in Speech-Language Pathology, or ability to obtain licensure in Illinois.
  • Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required.
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology required.
