Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in formulating and executing tailored treatment strategies for patients.
  • Guide patients through prescribed exercises and stretches, ensuring proper technique and safety.
  • Observe and monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, providing valuable insights to the supervising therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families on effective at-home exercise techniques and self-care practices.
  • Accurately document patient progress and treatment results in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming therapy environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all job-related activities.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to function effectively within a team setting.
  • Prior experience in a rehabilitation environment is advantageous.
