Phlebotomist - Inpatient Blood Collector

**Job Summary:**
CentraState Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in various settings, including inpatient nursing units, outpatient clinics, and nursing homes.
**Responsibilities:**
* Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture, capillary fingerstick, or heelstick methods
* Label and initialize blood tubes accurately
* Maintain 100% compliance with positive patient identification
* Respond to various alerts throughout the hospital campus
* Assist in the specimen processing area when not on the floor or responding to alerts
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Phlebotomy experience preferred
* ASCP-certified phlebotomy technician preferred
