Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve meals and beverages to residents in the dining room, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Participate in pre-service meetings and tastings to understand the meals being served and provide feedback.

• Ensure that food orders are correct and residents have everything they need to enjoy their meals.

• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting up and cleaning up after meals.

• Work closely with the Food and Beverage Director, Dining Room Supervisor, Cooks, and fellow dining staff to ensure seamless service.

• Follow community policies and procedures regarding safety standards, food sanitation, and resident care.

• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and accommodating attitude towards residents at all times.

Requirements:

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and lift a 25-pound tray overhead.

• Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position and relate to and work with residents who may be ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or agitated.

• Ability to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.

• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical examination.
