Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Rose International. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing laboratory maintenance, lab testing, and analysis in a Client Facility. This includes working in an office and two Client Laboratories, where you will be supervised by a Senior Lab Technician.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory maintenance, lab testing, and analysis under the supervision of a Senior Lab Technician.
- Work on various types of customer side-of-meter equipment, including heat pump water heaters, HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, lighting and building controls systems, portable battery power systems, and other technologies.
- Perform in-depth testing of various customer side-of-meter technologies under supervision of Senior Lab Technician and Project Lead Engineers.
- Develop reports on lab test results and make recommendations for possible revisions to future testing plans.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors as needed for equipment calibration and inventory tracking.
- Support remodeling and upgrading of specific lab areas or equipment under supervision of Senior Lab Technician.
- Ensure a safe and productive work environment and maintain lab work areas clean and safe.
- Prior hands-on experience with laboratory work in areas such as electrical systems, plumbing, thermal systems, instrumentation, lab computers, data acquisition systems, and equipment calibration.
- Knowledge of lab safety practices and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
