Bariatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Bariatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan to achieve positive patient and departmental outcomes.
Responsibilities- Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients, ensuring efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing, and discharges.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans, and respond to and refer incoming telephone calls.
- Review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.
