About the Role:
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including record-keeping, reporting, and communication with staff, students, and parents.
  • Provide general information and answer phone calls, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, using knowledge of business English, spelling, and arithmetic.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience as an administrative assistant with mid-level responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to learn new software programs and adapt to changing priorities.
Work Environment:

This role is based at Intermediate School District 917, which serves nine member districts in the south metro area of Minnesota. Our focus is on providing high-quality, equitable education to all students, and we strive to create a positive learning environment.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $22.61 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
