Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/EMT-Basic to join our team at the City of Blue Ash. As a part-time Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing EMT services, and engaging in fire prevention and fire-fighting activities to protect lives and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide EMT services to individuals in need.
  • Engage in fire prevention and fire-fighting activities to protect lives and property.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of fire and emergency medical service stations and equipment.
  • Participate in training sessions to maintain EMT status and stay up-to-date on the latest emergency medical service procedures.
  • Perform a wide variety of routine tasks in connection with the maintenance of fire station quarters and grounds.
Requirements
  • Current State of Ohio Firefighter II certification.
  • Current State of Ohio Basic EMT certification.
  • Ability to work a 6-day, 24-hour rotation schedule.
  • Availability to work from 0700 to 0700.
