Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary:

Alutiiq Logistics and Maintenance Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on all equipment under the direct supervision of the Lead Engineer or Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, and replacing worn parts to prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems with equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
  • Test equipment to ensure proper functionality after repairs.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Upgrade existing systems to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Report any significant issues or concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, including HVAC systems.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • TS/SCI with ability to obtain Yankee White Security Clearance.
  • Pursuant to Government Contract, must be a U.S. citizen.
