Position Title: MRI Technician

Job Overview:
The MRI Technician will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes. This role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in MRI technology.
  • Certifications: BLS, ARRT-MRI required.
  • On-Call Duties: Yes, availability for on-call shifts is necessary.
  • Weekend Work: Not required.
  • Licensing: Candidates must hold a valid license, with no pending licenses accepted.
  • Travel Considerations: Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.

Unit Information:
The MRI department primarily focuses on imaging of the brain and spine, along with abdominal and extremity studies. We do not perform enterography, prostate, cardiac, or breast scans. The team frequently collaborates with anesthesia and ICU units. Transitioning to a dedicated MRI trailer is planned as the main hospital magnet is being replaced.
