Caregiver Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide high-quality care to our clients in and around Villanova. As a caregiver with Visiting Angels Mainline, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
  • Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
  • Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
  • Provide companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
  • Maintain consistent communication between seniors, co-workers, and office staff
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-year experience as a caregiver (or similar position)
  • CNA, HHA, and DC Certification
  • Driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance
  • One of the following TB Tests (2 step PPD/Chest X-Ray/Quantiferon Blood Work)
  • References, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
  • Good communication skills in Spanish, Russian, or Italian is a plus
Benefits
  • Competitive Pay Based on Experience - Rates start between $16.00 to $18.50/hour
  • Higher Hourly Pay – All weekend shifts, couples shift, and LAST MINUTE CALLS pay at a higher base rate.

  • $200 cash bonus will be paid after 3 months from the date of hiring, if the employee works 30 hours/week for all 3 months
