As a Wellness Coordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting the overall well-being of our residents by leading group fitness classes, providing personal training, and assisting residents in improving their physical and mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fitness programs and activities that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our residents
  • Provide personalized attention and support to residents to help them achieve their wellness goals
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that our fitness programs are safe and effective
  • Conduct fitness assessments and create personalized exercise plans for residents
  • Lead group fitness classes and provide one-on-one training sessions
  • Assist residents in improving their overall well-being by promoting healthy lifestyle habits and providing education on wellness topics
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • NCCA Accreditation or willingness to pursue training
  • Experience working in personal training, group fitness, and/or wellness in a clinical fitness/physical therapy setting
  • Experience working with gerontology and/or special populations preferred
  • At least 18 years of age or older
