Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. You will use the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide direct and indirect patient care.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
  • Supervise and direct other assigned team members
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Current additional certifications as required by department
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so

Work Experience:
At least 6 months RN experience
