Key Responsibilities

As a Permanent Philanthropic Planning Attorney, your duties will include:
  • Delivering expert legal counsel on all facets of philanthropic planning, including the formation and management of various charitable entities and trusts.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating intricate charitable contribution agreements.
  • Advising clients on the legal and tax ramifications of their philanthropic strategies.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to create comprehensive philanthropic planning solutions.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest trends in philanthropic planning law and tax legislation.
  • Representing clients before regulatory agencies and in legal matters as necessary.
  • Promoting the firm's philanthropic planning services through marketing and business development initiatives.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar, New York Bar, or Connecticut Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a focus on philanthropic planning.
  • A proven history of advising clients on philanthropic planning issues.
  • Strong skills in legal research, drafting, and negotiation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal and tax aspects of charitable contributions.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities and the capacity to build strong relationships.
  • The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to maintaining professional ethics and integrity.
